Tetraodon nigrifilis(Topaz Puffer)
This species is more properly called Tetraodon nigroviridis. Easily confused with T. fluvialitis, this species is a brighter green and the spots on the back are smaller.
Fish information (behaviour and breeding):
These fish are sometimes tolerant and successfully kept in community tanks, but many specimens are aggressive and territorial, and a few become confirmed fin-nippers.
Because these fish have continually growing teeth, they need large amounts of hard-shelled food, such as shrimps, snails, and clams. They will also eat krill, bloodworms, chopped mussels, and other meaty foods.
