Polynemus paradiseus(Paradise Threadfin)

A very interesting fish with long appendages which they use to feel around their surroundings. These fish are super rare. These fish do get relatively large and consequently require a relatively large tank especially give their long feelers.


Fish information (behaviour and breeding):

Unless you have a very large tank it makes sense to keep these fish as a single specimen. They will normally only take live food and will therefore require some weening onto frozen foods such as brine shrimp and blood worm. There are no reports of these fish having been bred in aquarium conditions.
