This is believed to be the female of the same species as Danio sp.'Hikari blue'.
A very pretty danio that is quite rare in the trade. They should be kept in a group and make ideal inhabitants for a community tank given their peaceful nature.
Fish information (behaviour and breeding):
Similar in requirements to other small danios, these fish look their best when kept in a large school. Since Hikari Yellow danios and Hikari Blue danios are males and females of the one species, it is necessary to procure both if you wish to see them display to one another and eventually breed from them. Breeding is similar to the other small danios, with eggs being scattered among plants.
