Devario browni (Brown's Devario, Brown's Danio)

A medium-sized danio distinguished by having a green band that is darkest at the centre of the body, fading away towards the tail but becoming slightly darker again at the very base of the tail. There are some yellow-orange squiggles behind the gill cover, yielding to two ro three horizontal orange stripes that run to the base of the tail.


Fish information (behaviour and breeding):

A peaceful, schooling species best kept in a large group so that its natural behaviour can be observed. Breeding is assumed to be similar to that of other Devariio species.
