Ageneiosus lineatus sp. III Green Stripe (Dolphin Catfish)

Ageneiosus is a genus of driftwood catfishes found mostly in South America. This species is a pretty looking dolphin catfish and is often imported from Peru. It is also called “Green Stripe”. Reaching around 20 cm length, it is shorter than the usual Ageneiosus length of over 40cm.

This species is also known as sp. III and is often confused with Ageinosus vittatus, but this is a different species with a much rounder head profile and a different pattern.
